Hi Sebastian
Xray is good solution, when you have a small team which relies on Jira and require some kind of testing capabilities. But as Xray is completely based on the jira datamodel and represents test entities as issue types, it can only provide capabilities which are possible due to the underlying data model. On larger projects Xray is more a cumbersome as it can not scale on large implementations. Beside that it does not provide simple test management solution capabilities such as sharing tests, history, versioning, cross release usage with different test content of the same tests, etc. If you want to know more about Octane, follow our academy (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKtVFowbMBIeEL2f-woBY6Q). If you wish to have a meeting, let us know.
Thanks,

It looks like you are using some kind of self-written python script for exporting the test cases form Xray. So there is no option in a corporate environment using just the functionalities of xray and octane?
Hi and thanks for sharing!
I wonder: What are the reasons for moving from xray to octane?
Best regards, Sebastian
