Usage Instructions 1. Prerequisites: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 32 bit Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update 2. Install this add-in on your ALM client machine.
To install this add-in, you must log in with administrator privileges 3. When using a forward proxy, the proxy server credentials must be specified in the Screen Recorder Network Settings and in either the Internet Explorer Connections options or the WebGate
Customization tool 4. Open Screen Recorder and connect to ALM. If the connection to the ALM Server requires web authentication, or if the connection is established via proxy, click the Network Settings button on the login screen and provide the relevant information.
Note that the password in the web authentication section is not stored between runs. If external authentication is used, Screen Recorder automatically detects the relevant environment and provides the user with the required authentication 5. When you start
Screen Recorder, when prompted to automatically begin recording, select Continuous mode recording. Alternatively, use the Record option to record only when needed 6. During recording, click the Stop button or choose Stop from the main menu. You can then select
